- Manage the purchasing function by following the purchasing procedure and company policy to ensure that department and company objectives are achieved.
- Manage the purchasing function by co-coordinating, planning to ensure that purchased goods arrive on time; at the right specification, quality, quantity and at the competitive prices.
- Manage the purchasing function by selecting right suppliers with the best payment term and delivery lead time.
- Co-ordinate with Planning on raw material planning by regular communication, updating information to ensure that raw materials are available at the optimum level.
